Summary

When we looked at the Hazard 4 Plan-B ’17 Thermo-cap Sling Go Bag, there were many features that made it one of our top picks.

This bag is actually a newer version then the classic Plan-B version.  Some of the updates include the new thermoformed, semi-hard case that is on the front of the bag.  This is a great feature and makes this bag more durable.

There are also MOLLE cutouts on the larger front velcro-patch field that wasn’t there before.  They’ve also added some cool roto-locking side-release buckles that make it easier for you to unbuckle and buckle if you’re wearing thick gloves.

This pack also includes a MOLLE expansion option which includes the MOLLE cutouts in the front.  Its interior lining is tan, so it makes it slightly easier to locate items in this pack as opposed to a black lining.

With Cordura being the main material of this bag, it creates a tough, durable, long-lasting bag that you will be able to keep for years to come.

Our Analysis, Comparisons & Test Results

performance comparison

The Hazard 4 Plan-B ’17 Go-Bag Sling Back is unique in about every way.  This is why we wanted to put this one on our list to give you an idea of what it out there to choose from.  Even though it’s not as large as the other bug out bags we reviewed, it makes up for in versatility, ruggedness, and maneuverability.

Its sleek design makes for a great everyday carry (EDC) bag, or for storing weapons in your bugout vehicle.  One of the best features of this little bag is it can be rotated to the chest for on-the-go access, and all pockets are designed to face the user in this mode on either the right or left side.

This means the user can go from wearing the pack on his or her back to driving a vehicle with it on his or her chest in just a few seconds. One-strap also makes shouldering a long-gun more natural – unlike a regular backpack.
